I’ve been playing Tenor Sax for a few years and my old band director (middle school) told me to NEVER get rico reeds or Don’t play if your using one. for good reason! I’ve sworn off of those reeds for years but the worse experience I had was when my older reed cracked and I didn’t have any extras. I borrowed a rico from my friend who said he didn’t use them anymore and as soon as we started playing, I squeaked so load the entire band turned and looked at me. It was the first note too. parents, do your kids and your ears a favor and get the vandoren. More control over their sound and volume, less squeaking.

These came quickly and were just as described. A good price for quality reeds.
These reeds are nice for beginning and intermediate leveled players. As I said in the title: these reeds work nice. Although these reeds are not the greatest, they usually work fine, are very durable and dependable. If you are an advanced musician try Vandoren. Fast shipping and great service as always in Amazon.
My younger son started playing the tenor sax this year. Rico Reeds was recommended by the teacher. So far, my son has not used up the first two boxes since he started playing 5 months ago. Of course, he burned through them faster at the beginning. Good quality, no defects in any of the reeds that we have found.
My son really wanted this and even though it cost a few more dollars than the others he was looking at I agreed. It turns out to be a nice, heavy duty stand and folds up nicely. Now I can be sure that his new instrument will not be laid on the ground. I recommend it highly.
This sax stand is very sturdy and convenient. Having this actually makes my son practice more often because he never put the sax away.
I bought my son a Hercules barisax stand for Christmas which was a great purchase. This one won’t disappoint also. It is very sturdy and folds down to be very portable.
Let’s see….quality materials, clever design, compact size, easy to use, very affordable. Does this sound like a winning combination to you? I’ve owned almost every brand of saxophone stand on the market and this one is tops, hands down. Even the flute/clarinet peg, if you order one, has a soft covering so that your valuable instruments won’t be marred. A saxophone player must have been involved in coming up with this stand because it does everything you want it to do and nothing that you don’t want it to do. Well, it may not play a whole-tone scale but that’s about the only thing it can’t do! Buy it, you will be glad you did.
Lightweight, easy to carry. This is a great bag. My daughter plays tenor sax, and she is pretty petite. This case has been a great find, as it’s durable enough to be bumped around on a school bus, but lightweight enough for her to handle. The quality is good, the pockets are a great bonus, and overall I would highly recommend this case.
An excellent case. Fits the big bell from a 1963 Buescher Tenor nicely. Very impressed with product. Wish it came with the backpack strap as standard equipment though.
I have a Selmer, Mark 6 tenor.. and it fits into the pro-pac like a glove. Love the extra pockets located on the outside of the case. Don’t like the way the two handle halfs snap together, have to line them perfectly
