My son was very excited when he felt how soft this strap was around his neck. Unfortunately, the hook comes undone from the instrument on its own.
The strap is very comfortable and allows me to play the sax for a long time. The only issue is the hook it is made of plastic and is cheap. Need to check that the hook is attached to sax all the time and to be easy on it. Suggestion to the manufacture is to have a better design for the hooking unit on this product then it would be great. 5 stars on the neck strap and 1 on the hook.
The padded neck strap is great. The plastic clip is a little flakey and you need to double check that it is clipped securely so your instrument doesn’t fall.
This neck strap is very comfortable, HOWEVER, the clip hits the sax and comes open!
This happened to my son and the sax needed $225 in repairs because it just fell to the floor!
Don’t buy this strap with THIS CLIP.
Pick a strap with a different clip that can’t come open on it’s own!
