Looking at the reviews on Musicians Friend, they were all glowing and positive with three exceptions: Two thought it was too complicated, since they just wanted to plug in and play. One had evidently gotten a defective unit, and supposedly Behringer is well known for shoddy manufacturing. However, in my home studio it will see such light duty that I am going to buy one and I will tell you my personal experiences after I have used it.

Let me reiterate: The other 25 reviews were glowing in praise about the features, sound, etc and the owners seemed ecstatic.

It looks like you could do anything with it…lots of voices, effects, cab simulations, etc. There is also a little software program so you can program it from your PC. The simple issue is sound…does it sound good, full, and punch and cut through the mix? We shall see.

The other drag is that it doesn’t come with even a cheap little foot controller. You have to buy one separately. No big deal for me, but if you want to play live and cart it everywhere, you might consider buying its cheaper little brother that is a floor unit.
The best unit out there is the Bass Pod Pro rack mount, but it doesn’t have true stereo effects (!) and costs waaaaay too much. All the other units are floor units, and I am trying to get junk OFF my floor…thats why I’m making this purchase in the first place. Other rack units require an amp and we shall have NONE of that in my quiet little suburban home.

This looks attractive…just hope my worries about Behringer quality don’t turn out to be valid.

what does studio dance do to your butt?
is it true Tone Studio when you go to studio dance, that your butt gets bigger, like more toned? and if so, why is that?

When I got this, it installed with no problems. It didn’t work so well with my disk drives, though (one drive didn’t work at all, and the other did if I went through “Audio files” in the program instead of “CD Audio”). Some of my CDs were multimedia, so those songs wouldn’t even show up. I ripped them with Windows Media Player into WMA, which supposedly work (but didn’t). The next day I tried again, but got an error message and had to reinstall the program. Since then, it’s worked fine. Also, I downloaded AV MP3 Player to rip songs into MP3’s, which have all worked well in converting to ringtones. And a final note, don’t expect the ringtones to be CD quality. I did and was very disappointed. With practice, though, I’ve learned to adjust the volume before creating the ringtone so they at least aren’t all staticy when they play on my phone.

This product is not user-friendly by any means. The instructions are relatively useless if you run into problems. I had to find a backdoor just to use the program as it kept crashing on me when I used the regular buttons.

However, once I did figure it out it was smooth sailing. I was able to download the ringtones successfully & it paid for itself in the first 6 downloads.

A fairly good value if you are computer literate & patient. If not, go with something more user-friendly.

This software is not designed well at all. It requires an Internet read phone. Mine is a LG 8100 and it wouldn’t get the file over the internet. It won’t allow one to use a USB cable. I tried one that I had and it didn’t work.

However, the the price it wasn’t worth sending it back.

I bought this program for my Samsung E317. While it is very easy to make your own ringtones, My phone did not wor. This program will not work with Samsung phones and the company for the software’s “help” desk is no help at all. Otherwise this is a great item.

I had been using and analog tuner for years. When it finally died, I was not sure that this tuner could be a satisfactory replacement. The price was so low that I had to get it. Now that I have used it for a month or so, I love it. I wish I had upgraded a long time ago. it’s a wonderful tuner.

This tuner was more than what I needed at a price I could afford. It conveniently came with batteries, so no pesky trip to the store to find some. Getting a readout is as simple as plugging the cable into it, turning it on, selecting guitar, and strumming. I’ve never tuned a guitar before, and without even having to use the manual, I got my electric guitar tuned in less than five minutes. Plus it’s very portable, and will even play each note out its built-in speaker to let you know what each note should sound like. I would highly recommend this for first-time guitar or bass players.

Gotta Love Amazon. They have great service, and millions of products.

This particular product works great, came ready to use. I use it regularly to keep all my guitars in tune.

Fast shipping and cheap prices, I don’t know why anyone would pay more at a music shop.

This little tuner is big on accuracy and makes it so easy to tune that one never has to cut into practise time to get it right. I highly recommend the Korq GA-40. It is responsive and has the perfect ‘ear.’ Who could ask for anything more? :)
